No News...

is good news, at least for the editorial team – me! As advised in the last issue, we’re taking a break from writing Status enews this week on account of Easter, although we announce our footy tipping results and profile another of our EHP below. We’ll be back at the writing desk next week. Until then, spend some time in the exercise yard to work off those Easter kilos – "egg legs" are not a good look.

Status Footy Tipping Competition

Chris Harley, left, with Status’ Business Development Consultant - Rudy Nath
Round 3 and Status’ footy tipping competition is still yet to register its first perfect tipper for the year. However, this week 17 tippers managed to correctly forecast 7 correct wins and two of those managed to pick the exact margin of 27 points for the match Geelong v Collingwood. And yet, in another first for the year, we have our first repeat winner, Chris Harley, alias "Casino C", from Metal Spinners Pty Ltd, who was also crowned our weekly winner in round 1.

Fortunately, for everyone else Chris, you can only win two weekly prizes each year, so you’ll now have to focus on the mid and end of year prizes to maintain your impressive winning streak.

Our second round 3 winner is Sandra James, alias "Playing4sheepstations" from Print n Stitch.
This is Sandra’s second year in our footy tipping comp and her first victory, which just goes to show that perseverance does pay off.

Congratulations Chris and Sandra, and may the sweet taste of victory be made even sweeter as you savour your prizes.

To everyone else, better luck next round and don’t forget to check out the leader board. There are currently more than 80 active tippers in our competition and after logging into the AFL website, you can view your position on the ladder by selecting the Status Employment Services competition.

You can join the competition at anytime during the year and will be allocated all of the away teams from previous rounds as your starting position on the leaderboard. If you would like to join but are having difficulty registering, please contact our footy tipping administrator, Dora Zalunardo, on 8377 0101, and she will arrange for someone to step you through the process.
